I eventually plan on doing the S13 Silvia Front conversion, and also swaping my KA with the SR20DET. I'd like to know if you recomend buying a full front clip, or just buying them seperately. Would it be cheaper to buy the front end peices seperately as well? I have a 89 Coupe. Any info would be great. Thanks-Zeki

This has been discussed a lot. Try Silvia Conversion or Strawberry face in the search. They both come up frequently.

In answer to your question though, front clips don't come with body panels or headlights.

I sell the Silvia conversion for 1,000 + shipping, it has everything.

I sell S13 SR20DET redtops for 2200 + shipping, they are 100% complete.

Enjoy your day and please search, theres a wealth of information.

Well if you could find a front clip that actually came with the body panals then that would definately be a plus depending on the condition of the engine. If you want to know which one to do first then its a personal preferance issue, id get the engine in and running good first.

almost zero clips come with the panels. The ones that do are marked up by over 1000 dollars plus the additional markup for buying a front clip. : )

Thanks for replying. I think that I will be buying the front end conversion and getting it on before the engine depending on different things. I mean it's all the same in the end right?:pface

seems to me like buying a front clip is the way to go. I just ordered mine from a local place in sacremento called venus auto. (no offense daunt! just didnt want to ship from iowa!) For me, i have to do an auto to manual conversion as well, so all the parts i need are in the front clip. (crossmember, driveshaft, clutch, master cylinder, etc etc) also in the front clip is the jdm radiator so u dont have to buy a new one. And being how this will be my first engine swap i can look how everything is installed in the front clip, should make it easier. 2500 for the s13 sr20det fc. http://www.venus-auto.com
