s13 Shaved 3rd brake light...options

Just purchased a repaired rear hatch with a shaved 3rd brake light for my s13. But i still want to rig-up a 3rd brake light so i dont get rear ended or pulled over...etc

How did you guys mount the 3rd brake light behind the glass? Was the "flash back" from the light pretty bad? Just looking for different options. (Any pics would be nice)

Also....my newly purchased rear hatch have no wiring at all....can anybody help me ID and locate the wires on the body side? (3rd brake light + defroster)

go to junktard and buy third brake lite from a vehicle that is similar back there

....are you serious? I went on to google and searched up "thin led brake light" and under images I found this..

Scroll down and there is a DIY aftermarket brake light.....

If you want to tap into the 3rd brake light circuit, google search also has FSM's for download.
