While driving, my car starts to shake a bit at 55mph and it gets worse and worse the faster i go. What could be the problem ? I have a 89 fastback. Thank you for your time guyz

check your wheel bearings and check to see if your tires are bald on the inside front and back. To check your wheel bearings raise your car of the ground and shake the tire thats of the ground thier should be very little play if your wheel jiggles to much then your wheel bearings are bad.

I had the same problem, if it turns out not to be the alignment, spend 10 bucks and have your tires balanced...did the trick for me.

I had the same problem with my 90 coupe (b4 i totalled it), it was determined the the camber was off in the front.

Ya, had the same problem. Driving down Verterans Parkway (Tampa, FL area). Car started shaking and my tire blew before I had the chance to get off. Got rubber **** all over my car and put a giant dent on the exhaust side of my rear fender.

Here it is in order of likelyhood:

1) Tires out of balance2) Alignment3) Wheel Bearing4) Warped Rotors (will show more under braking)
