s13 seatbelt control

So i removed my automatic seat belts and i was wondering if i could just unplug the computer in the center console and run without it, i could use the space for wiring. im still working on my motor otherwise i would just unplug it and see for myself but i thought i would ask to see if i can just chuck it.

I have a '93 S13 with a Manual seatbelt conversion.

I took the auto seat-belt computer out and all is good.
