S13 Seat belt lifetime warranty question

Okay, so here is my dilemma. I own a 93 hatch and the seatbelts have begun acting up and only slide on their rails intermittently and get stuck in different positions. Now, I know that there is a lifetime warranty on these so long as there hasn't been any tampering. Well what if there is tampering with the lap belt?- I have aftermarket seats that do not have the lap belt female end, so the lap belts are not used (bought it like this and figured I'd just buy harnesses once I get a cage). will they fix the automatic problem if i have aftermarket seatsand the laps aren't all there?

I believe so, since they are 2 separate systems...

Lap belt is self contained, as is the automatic seat belt system.
