S13 Search

Hey guys im seriously ready to go ahead and get my car...I've test drove a couple s13a and i love em...I'm looking at a 91-93 model because i like that body style best...

What are common areas where s13s are prone to troubles so i can look for this when buying one? I want to get the best fastback for my money, so please provide any useful info on buying a 240 so i can make a good choice...

As well, where can i conduct my hunt? So far i've been checking out autotrader and keeping an eye on the newspaper... where are some other good places to find the best deals...

BTW, I live in Toronto

Welcome!Broaden your search to across the border man. When I was searching for my car, 240's were SO hard to find (I'm in Canada too), and it isn't too far of a drive for you. The States have 3 times the market than we do. You never know, you might even find it for a bit cheaper too.

im not sure that i want to look in the US for them, because i dont have time to drive that far to check out cars... im too busy working to save even more money for it =)

Where I'm at they got a s13 91 fastback for $1,900. But if you live in Canada that's gonna be a hell of a trip to come to Texas and buy one. And BTW is automatic. With mine the only 2 problems that I had with was the radiator and the clutch. But the clutch was cause racing so I put a ACT racing clutch and a Fidanza 12lbs. flywheel.

i found injectors leaking to be a problem in mine and a couple people's s13spower steering pump went tooim leakin coolant somewhere i dont know where but its leakin REALLY slowlyif it has that stock rubber spoiler, it'll rust underneath it almost for surewhat else....umm alternator might go..nissan electrical systems are garbage in my opinion heh
