S13 SE stock cd player

anyone know what i means when the player instantly ejects the cd after it is put in?

my original player didnt even take the cd, so i got another at a junkyard, and put some pieces together, and now it sorta works, but it take the cd, then ejects it right away. anyone know??

Don't even bother with that garbage. You can pick up a decent deck for next to nothing.

Try craigslist. I bet you could deck a working deck that'll last a while for like $20.

If not, just find a Q45 at your junkyard and pull the brakes. You'll definitely make enough $$$ to cover a deck.

lol, thats funny you say that, because the first thing i put in there was this spanish cd that was in the one from the junkyard, and i laughed when it just spit it right out.

but anyway, i guess ill just have to get a new one unless anyone else can chime in with something helpful..

Have you tried with a legit (brand new, audio) cd? If it is not because of the scratches, then simply there is too much dust on the lens or laser fails. Even if you clean it, it will most probably do it again. Get a new one. In the meantime listen to the radio.
