S13 & S14 knuckle(spindle) interchangeable?

I have a friend that has an s14 with a bad hub bearing. To change the hub bearing, you have to replace the entire hub. Well he bought the new hub(an 1995 s14 se 5 lug), but the old knuckle (spindle) has a stripped nut on the stud. He picked up a s13 knuckle at the junkyard, but were not sure that the s13 knuckle will work with the s14 5 lug hub. I have done alot of research, but didn't really see an answer either way. I compaired the knuckle to another s14 and it looked the same, but im afraid that the stud ( part that the hub goes onto ) is a different size.

Anyone know for sure?

i think there different cause the s13 spindle takes a different ball joint then the s14 spindle.
