Just recently, my cylinder #2 fuel injector went out so I ordered 4 used ones here in the classifieds. They got here and seem to be a bit different design than the one I pulled from my later model redtop. They look to be s14 sr20 injectors, which are also 370cc injectors. My question is: will these work in my s13 fuel rail? And will I need to replace all of them at once? I had really hoped to just replace that one and have a few to set back just in case another one decided to die on me. I've searched as well as I could on the subject, but...

And why does it state in Hijacker's SR FAQ sticky that the SR "Fuel injectors are identical to NA 300ZX (Z32)?" Everywhere else I've read says they're the same as '95 TT 300zx injectors.

NAs MIGHT use the same injectors as the TTs. It's pretty likely. To the best of my knowledge, all Nissans use the same style of injectors, so as long as they're 370ccs they should work fine, and no, you shouldn't need to replace ALL of them if only one of them is bad.

Due to their slightly different styles, I just swapped them all. They do, in fact, work. At least, they work well enough to run without me being able to tell if they're not running correctly. I might be able to tell more when I get new spark plugs as mine are next to useless right now.

The NA 300zx is a 270cc injector, while the TT IS the same as the sr's 370cc . I know this isn't a big deal to most people because they'll just upgrade to something bigger, but coming from six or so years on the ka, this stock sr20 is more than I need right now. Stock is fine with me!

I wouldn't know what it's like to drive a stock SR. I put mine in, drove it home in limp mode... Went to Iraq, came home and ordered a huge turbo and started building... Not the greatest way to do things, but whatever. When you want something, you want it.

Just wanted to throw this out there for someone else's search results: I don't know if they were damaged previously, in shipping, or something else and was just hung open; these late model s14 injectors ran incredibly rich. Again, it could be faulty units or bad coil packs...

Semi-OT: Do NICO members get a deal from Deatschwerks?
