Because its only one header per S13/S14 motor.

is it an s14 in an s14 chassis or s14 in an s13 chassis????

So if you're asking if an s13 header will fit an s14 w/ an s13 chassis it'll work, thats what i have rightnow.

The S13 and S14 have different downpipes, and each have a different type of bolt pattern where the header meets the downpipe

They can work for each other, but its a ***** to do. A header for an S13 May need a connecting pipe between the catalytic and the dead end of the header. I have a S14 header on my S13, and it needed a little work as well.

You know i really dislike it when people put dis-information in a post. Please be absolutly sure before you post an absolute statement. If not then post something like "im not sure" , you could at least do that.

I dont really want to argue... Im a peaceful guy.

I dont think that you actually HAVE to have done it yourself in order to know simple things like will S13 header bolton in a s14 chasis... I have looked at the exhaust system of both cars and I know they are different. I believe that is sufficient knowledge on my part to answer his question.

You are right that I have not done this my self but like I said, I dont actually have to DO things to know whether it will work or not.

I hope we can leave it at that

Well, it is quite different to think rather than actually do. I have done it. You have not.

All im saying is dont say you know when you dont. We need people's trust here on these forums and experience begets trust.

If you were refering to my post, I said that where the header meets the downpipe that the S13 and S14 headers are different, I never said that the S14 header with downpipe won't bolt to an S13 or vice-versa.

Great. My bad.

If you just move the hangers over a little it matches fine.

Still out a ways from my kade swap, just wanted to tack a question onto here. With just the headers on, will it be ok to drive the 5 miles to my muffler shop. I know it will be loud, and not that legal. anyone have experience?

many people run open header (no s) or open down pipe (usually the case) until they can fab up some piping. Just dont annoy the crap out of your neighbor.
