S13's with two keys?

did s13's come with two keys? heres the issue: my car has an alpine keyless entry in it, and my key wont unlock the doors. it isnt an issue with the aftermarket system, i disassembled the doors, and the lock cylinder wasnt connected to anything, it didnt budge. the key also wont open the trunk, and that isnt touched by the alpine system. the key does obviously start the engine.any thoughts? been bugging me for a while, b/c when the batt. dies, i have to break into my own car to unlock it.-Enzo

maybe you need to get new selenoids (or whatever it is to unlock your door) it may be broken. Bring it in to a shop

yup, mines came w/ 2 keys... that 2nd key is for a valet... so he/she won't rummage thru your locked glovebox/trunk...

the key for mine only works one way. drove me crazy untill I figured it out.

yeah it happens when the keys get too worn. I've found it out through 3 older cars worth of experience.

Pretty sure you can just get a new key cut at the dealership seeing as how you have a 92.

Well im the 3rd owner of mine and all i got was 1. Works for doors trunk and ignition.

i only got one, but my friend got 2 for his 92 240sx. and like ricebike said one is for just the ignition for like valet and stuff, and the other one works for everything. Maybe you just have that one valet one. For my friend his "valet" one has a red rubber tip. while his master one has a black rubber tip, just like mine.
