my s13 ka24det runs 8 rich at idle and at any rpm until i get in to boost then runs perfect at 12 afr. there is black smoke from being rich and white smoke at some moment, but not loosing coolant or anything like that. at idle the rpm's jump up and down 500 to 1000 rpm. the motor and harness, ecu, sensor etc, was swaped with the ka24de. the ka24de was rebuilt completly before install. i installed a greddy emanage blue and messed with the a.v.v setings for a quick tune and it still is runing the same way. when i take air fuel away its stays the same but tryed to add air/fuel to see if the emanage was working and it adds fuel like it was suppost to.

im thinking there may be a issue in the engine harness, what do you guys think?

my set up

ka24de obd1
forged 9.1.1 je pistons
stock crank/rods ect.
stock maf
270cc injectors
255lph
fmu (rrfpr)
t3 t4 garrett turbo
7 psi external waste gate
synapse bov (recirulated)
front mount
greddy emanage blue fuel/ igniton harness, 3 bar map( not tuned)
lc-1 innovate wide band

You need to get the E-manage tuned for the larger injectors.

And you're not supposed to use a FMU with larger injectors/piggyback.

i have 270cc injectors ( stock). i put 370cc in the post on accident sorry im going to edit.
i took the fmu off to see if it would change anything but it didnt and the fmu wont work untill i go into boost anyways.right now im focusing on vaccum.

could the 255lph pump with stock fpr cause rich conditions?

unplug it see if it make a difference
if its bad it is making you run richer and retarding your time by up to 15 degrees
