Ok hopefully I can sort this crap out cause I have had one hell of time searching through forum after forum. The powerfc won't save its settings. Now before you go saying its the relay let me REASSURE YOU that both power wires on the eccs relay are constant 12v not switched in anyway, and that being said the signal wire from the ecu to the relay is correct, 12v when the key is off, and ground when the key comes on. And finally the ecu power wire from the relay comes on as it is supposed to when the signal wire grounds. Also the backup pin #46 has constant 12v. Its from this point I am stuck.... What the heck makes the ecu stay on for a second to save its settings. I know something is not right just can't fugure it out and I'm going insane. SO please someone who has tackled this problem I am all ears. If it helps wiring specialties built the harness

Hey, I just had this exact same problem with a customer's S13 SR into a S14 chassis with Power FC. The problem lies with the way Yury at Wiring Specialties does the harness. He bypasses the ECCS relay, which if done, won't allow the Power FC to save memory. I got the Power FC to start saving memory by tearing down the entire harness, and rewiring it the way I would have done it from the beginning, which incorporates that relay. Contact me if you want to send the harness to me and have it rewired.

Hey this is Brandons roomy the owner of the car. Highmile if you could help us out on telling us how its wired we can handle the wiring part seeing how Brandon has wired a whole RB25 by himself .

We just need to know what needs to be changed so my Power FC will save.

Sorry, I did not see this post earlier. If you want, you can send the harness to me and I will do it for a fee. If not, you can figure it out with a redtop ecu pinout, '95 240sx FSM, and S14 SR FSM. You have to incorporate the ECCS relay into the picture. Wire it so the power is distributed like an S14 SR. Good luck!

Well here is the problem. The ECCS relay is workign as it should the power is to the correct wires and it clicks over as it should but when I turn the car off instead of the relay staying on for a split second it goes directly off. The ECCS relay gets the 12 volt constant ont he three indicated wires when the car is off and flips over when the key is on the relay clicks over to the other wire. Im stumped cause everything is getting power and working how it should but it still doesnt save.
