s13 rear subframe swap

hi, im doing a subframe swap to remove my hicas.. as ide from just taking a complete non hicas s13 subframe and puttin it in.. what else needs to be done.. i know im gunna have to do something with the powersteering lines..but after i get it in will i have to have anything aligned in the rear of the car? or is it just install and go?

you're looking at modifications to the ps lines, changing the ps pump and reservior on top of those things. What other parts did you get with the subframe?

You should get an alignment after doing something like that to the suspension.

I'd still suggest an alignment afterwards, yes.

oh no doubt man, i need an alignment anyway.. i was just asking aside from the complete rear sub.. what else should i do..

obviously something with the p/s pumpalignment

what options short of putting in a non hicas pump do i have

Yeah, switch out the ps pump to the non-hicas...it'll make your life a bit simpler and they should be fairly cheap. Make a post in the WTB section is what I'd suggest and lurk around the "for sale" section and see who's parting out their car.
