S13 Rear Bumper Removal

Me and a friend are trying to remove a rear bumper off his S13. After an hour or two we both gave up. We are wondering how to get access to the bolts/nuts that are on the side of the bumper if there are any...Anyone remove it before??

need to take out the carpet paneling in the back to access the side bolts. then you start to realise why speed wrenches are so expensive. closed ended wrench does the job. pop off the rubber stoppers under the rear carpeting to access the 4 main bolts.

yep there are 4 bolts under the carpet....I realized this the hard way (trying to remove it by tying to a tree :P)

mine got rear ended and i tried to take it off, but i couldnt get it off so i tied it to a tree and straightend it out, doesnt look to bad
