I upgraded my front brakes on my 93 vert to the Q45 mod, and I'm wondering if there's a comparable upgrade for the rear. One of my calipers is frozen so now is the time! Please let me know asap!!! Thanks!!!

the only one i am aware of is the z32 mod.

since your car is a street car, not a track car, you dont need a larger rear brake set up, plus the majority of the braking is on the front.

Well, since doing the Q45 upgrade in the front, the front locks up a lot easier now. I was hoping to upgrade the rear to offset the unbalance. Do you know if the Q45 calipers fit the rear as well?

You could do STI Brembos with Evo rotors... Overkill maybe?

simplest way is using grippier pads in the rear

Have you considered using the same calipers but bigger rotors and calipers brackets? PBM sells a nice set. I'm not too sure if having such big rotors on a small pad will benefit much though.

I'm just going to get a set of rebuilt stockers for the rear. They're expensive enough as it is!

Yup! You need a right size proportioning valve.

You can consider this one in the future. This could be what you want. Stock calipers with Cobra rear rotors.

Explain the valve?

As far as the rotor upgrade... yea, maybe someday... not in this economy though!

Propotioning valve is attached to Brake Master Cylinder on s13. Upgrading it to z32(300zx) BMC will definitely help. It's a direct bolt on and you don't have to bend hard lines. Only problem is 3rd fitting, but if you search hard, you can find one with 3rd fitting pressed in. If not, you can take it out from s13 BMC and move it over.

Ok, so I got my calipers in and I'm putting the brackets on. I greased up the shafts and put the rubber boots on, but now I'm stuck. I'm about to put the 2 bolts in that hold the bracket on and I notice that the kit came with 2 crush washers. "Crush washers???"

Do these washers go on these bolts to seal the grease in or something? If so, which side do they go on? I didn't notice them on the original calipers.... help?

If they are the copper ones they should be for the brake line.
