...really?

and you are going to do your own wiring?

thats what connects the engine harness to the chassis harness. basically where all of your wiring is going to take place to make the engine run.

Yea im doing it myself , i have all the diagrams and i know which wires to connect where i just havent seen any of the wires on the motor harness because the car is at my friends house and i wanted to know if that was the plug before i go overthere to do it. I've always done everything myself because thats how i learn and the mechanics here in miami dont know what the hell they are doing and the ones that do, they ripp you off.

Thanks for the help.

that plug goes to a module in the a-pillar. Its for cars that orignally came with an auto transmission so you likely wont be needing it.

My strong advice to you bro, Dont even bother trying to do the wiring...

Send it out to a pro..

here whos i recommend...

dropped it of on a wed..picked up the following thursday...Installed it in a hour and she fired right up!

http://www.sr20store.com ask for marcos. the man really knows his s*** when it comes to these cars and swaps

+1

Apposed to the previous post that it the most important harness plug of them all. That is where all the wiring is involved.

WHAT?

like hell it does. it originally plugged into the dash harness and needs to be repinned for a S14 swap or bypassed to a s13 swap.

+3 to joe. That is commonly reffered to as the f3 plug which contains all of the dash plug wiring. If you are unfamiliar with the harness that much I would have someone else do your wiring. I do wiring and if someone brings me something they hacked up I will charge a whole lot more.

Why do people chime in when they have no freaking clue??? WTF???

I have no clue why you are assuming that i dont have a clue. I just didnt have time to go and look over the wires because the car is at my friends house and i just wanted to make sure that thats the plug. so dont assume things thatyou dont know, and im pretty sure that there is not many people around where i live that know how to do it except for a few shops that will tell me that its $500 to do it because they will assume that i have no clue just like you think

All? There is one that I have that shows the ECU connecting[some] with the f3 plug. Check that out.

Correct me if I'm wrong people but um...

1) You should go get your wiring harness back.

2) Decide if using the excuse "I didn't have the time." is good for you or not. 2a) If it is, get it sent out. 2b) If not search some more.3) Understand that because you're asking a question on something that is really crucial to getting the car to operate, you fall into the category of "wanting to get spoon fed"

Plus that search button is amazing. ALways save time on silly questions. If you want a step by step search the internet or look in the faq section. Those are just basic wire ups. To learn like I did 10 years ago, grab a multi meter, schematics, and a s*** load of patience and run through every wire. De-pin what you dont need, hook up your consult, reverse lights, etc. Is it all that bad, no.

ALRIGHT EVERYONE!!! I don't know if you noticed but the title of the thread says "SIMPLE WIRING QUESTION" does that mean i need you to tell me that i dont know how to wire an RB motor in a 240, and that i should pay a professional to do it????(some even suggested their friends) I dont think so. All i was asking was what plug that was. THATS ALL!!!!!!!!!!! Im sick snd tired of writing back to people that are saying that i shouldnt do it myself and that i should send it to *****, because he really knows what he's doing.

Im done. My question has been answered and i didn't want any of you to f***ing spoon feed me, like one said!!!
