Ok so this is my first harness wiring attempt and im not completely lost but i could use guidance from anyone with first hand experience. Im working soley on hours of collected information i gather from the forums.

If i understand correctly i'm splicing together parts of the ka and rb harness to get a working car that will work on a RB ecu.

I understand the main engine harness from the rb20 is going to the rb20 ecu, obviously. I also understand that two plug connectors of the rb engine harness must be spliced accordingly into the two plugs behind the 240 fuse box for power to the harnes etc.

Now towards the end of the Rb engine harness where it connects into the ecu there are three or plugs that im guessing have to be spliced into the dash harness but where are these plugs on the 240?

There's also a lot of RB harness wires on the alternator side. What and where do i need to do with these wires.

FROM THE MOST COMMON GUIDES FOUND

>>>Locate the 6 and 8 wire connectors on the engine bay harnessDONE<<<

>>>On the ka EFI harness locate the oval gray and brown plug, these were located near the fuse box in the 240<<<DONE

>>>>KA RBBlack/Red  Black/Red (Thick wire) FOUNDRed  White/Black (Thick wire) FOUND Black/Pink  Black/Pink (Thin wire) Found Black/Yellow  Black/White (Thick wire) FOUNDWhite/Red  White/Red (Thin wire) FOUND FB White  White/Purple (Thick wire) ??? FB means? FOund the white/purple.Alt. White/Blue  Terminal (V.Thick wire) ??? <<<

>>>>From your RB Harness cut off the Oil Pressure sending unit plug, it has two wires - YLW/WHT and B and it is located right next to the oil filter.<<<<

FOUND the RB side and i know this must be spliced into the KA one but where is plug on the ka harness?

>>>From your RB harness unravel the looming and take out the knock sensor harness. The main plug is atthe front of the intake. It’s the Lower Plug of the 2. <<<<

Im lost here . I Found the knock sensor harness but what is to be done once its off??? And i found the knock sensor wiring to lead to a plug in the rear of the intake not the front?

>>>Now this is up to you. The Starter solenoid connection from the KA to the RB doesn't quite fit on thespade connector right. You can swap you RB plug onto it or leave your stock KA on it. It will fall off<<<

Lost. what and where is this?

Lastly, everyone talks of two green relays i need. I dont have a Rb clip and im pretty sure i dont have these. What are they and what do i do with them.

Anything else im missing or confusing feel free to help

FB White  White/Purple (Thick wire) ??? FB means? FOund the white/purple.Alt. White/Blue  Terminal (V.Thick wire) ??? <<<

FB white refers to the white wire coming from the ignition fuse located in the fusebox in the engine compartment.

>>>Now this is up to you. The Starter solenoid connection from the KA to the RB doesn't quite fit on thespade connector right. You can swap you RB plug onto it or leave your stock KA on it. It will fall off<<<

Lost. what and where is this?

This refers to the ground wire that fits on the little spade connector on the starter, next to the power wire.

Lastly, everyone talks of two green relays i need. I dont have a Rb clip and im pretty sure i dont have these. What are they and what do i do with them.

You will have to have these or you will not get fuel or fire. the connectors for the relays are about a foot from the ecu plug and should be inside the vehicle if your harness is in the car. you should be able to use any 4-pin nissan relay like is in the engine compartment if yours are missing.

I know it didnt answer all your questions but maybe this will help.
