s13 rack and pinion help

I just did my alignment today and the technician told me that I have to replace my rack and pinion because the seals and bushings were completely worn out. The alignment will eventually mess up again because of the worn out bushings. Since I am going to replace it, I just wanted to see what options do I have.

Should I buy a new one from autozone or kragen? or buy one from the nissan dealer? I heard this rumor that you can install a super Hicas front steering rack and pinion is that true? I heard that the steering ratio is better so I am interested in this rack but I don't know if the steering rack from a non hicas model is the same as the hicas steering rack in terms of physical aspects.

anyways let me know what you think. I need to replace that rack asap and I would like to upgrade my steering rack if possible to a super hicas.

Is it actually leaking power steering fluid?

If not(or only lightly) I would try some stop leak stuff and not worry about replacing the rack. Just put in new bushings for 20-30 bucks and get it re aligned.

yeah its leaking everywhere so I just want to buy a new one. Does the super hicas steering rack and pinion bolt up straight to my 1989 240sx? it's a basic fastback with no 4 wheel steering. I really do not see the difference tell me what you think.

the main question is does the hicas or 4 wheel steering rack fit in my 1989 240sx where the 2 wheel steering rack was? or do I have to get the hicas cross member to bolt the hicas rack?
