s13 project car Weight Reduction Questions

I just removed the back seats and the rugs from everything behind the front seats...when i removed the rug there is some cushion stuff that is stuck to the floor and I don't know how to remove it!!! I want to remove it in order to clean and polish the floor for a clean look....

how do I remove that stuff???

and what else can I remove to make the car lighter???(I heard that if I remove the front carpet and replace it with a replacement factory carpet, it will save me a lot of weight because of the cushion removal)

what ever info i can get will help!!!

the little cushion things arent much weight..probably 5lbs at themost.

alot of interior weight comes from the dash, seats, sound deadener and yourself.

removing.. i think you're talking about the furry material under the carpet.. for that just use goo-gone or paint thinner and wipe it off clean.or since you're going to polish the floor... just sand it off, since you'll have to sand the floor down.
