s13 power window silence

my passenger window goes down finemy drivers side doesnt make any noise when i press the button..is there something common that i could do to fix it??i wouldnt assume its a wiring problem or anything like that

i tried searching but couldnt come up with anything concrete for s13s-THANKS

pull the panel, put power directly to motor wires, if the motor runs, then you havea switch or relay/controller problem. if it doesnt run, the just replace the motor.

The only thing you may need a write up for is removing the door panel without damaging it... The rest is pretty straight forward..

ooh ok, i havnt seen what it looks like inside there and i duno sh*t about wiring or electronic stuff..figured a write up would help since off the top of my head i have no idea what to do

Basically, you're just going to hook up a hot and ground where the hot and ground go into the motor, to see if it'll turn on with direct power. That way, you're bypassing the relays. If this works, your relay is bad. If not, your motor is bad.

ooh thanks i just figure the motors out and am looking for a write up on replacement..figured itd be easy to find..maybe im just using the wrong keywords
