S13 Power Window Cable Snapped. Need some help.

So the cable thats attached to the motor on my passenger side window snapped causing the window to fall into the door but it didnt break thankfully. So i read on a few threads and i heard you cant just replace or re-attach the cable you have to buy either a whole new motor or just the regulator. I have also heard that you need both. So my question is what part do i need?

and also there is not much room at all to look around inside that power window assembly once the door panel is off. is there an easier way to replace the assembly? or am i gonna have to slide it in, and wiggle it around until i find the right spot ( )

yeah, thats happened to both my windows. i haven't replaced them yet, but as far as i know, you do need the whole window regulator. and from what i was told there are a few bolts that you undo and the whole assembly should slide right out. i hope this helps a little.

Okay perfect ya that helped a bit. Do you know if the regulator has the tracks and all that to put the window on or...?

thats a thread that could probably help you cause i really dont feel like typing out all the steps. take a peep at the thread though, its simple as sin and theres a few pics to help you visualize what you need to do
