S13 pop up switch don't work

I recently, well over half a year ago swapped out my digital cluster to an analog cluster and since then, the pop up switch (the switch when you hit it will cause the headlamps to pop up or down without turning the lights on) is acting funny. If I hit it, the headlamps will go up and then instantly go down after it reaches the top most position. Does that have anything to do with the cluster? I didn't cut any wire or anything at all. Any help/suggestion is appreciated. Thanks
