Someone that can help me, in SD?

My car is over heating, it was over heating before, then they changed the thermostat housing(it was broken), the thermostat, cooling sensor, I changed the coolant tank(bought a circuit sports tank), and since I don't drive it much(im barely learning how to drive stick lmao), I barely noticed it is still overheating, it took like 4 days of driving it for it to start overheating again, is there any of you in san diego that can check out my car? not necessarily a mechanic, just as long as you know your stuff, im tired of going to a mechanic, I don't trust them, I took it to some place for them to clean my radiator too, but I have a feeling they tell me they do **** to my car, but they don't do what they say...

park your car on a hill with rad cap off and valve open and run car for half an hour to let air escape. sit on bumper to shake car. does your car cool down when you turn on interior heater. get the air out.

I don't think it was overheating, the engine was pretty damn hot, but I guess that's how hot it gets cause the temperature meter is actually working, I thought it wasn't, since my speedometer and some other stuff isn't working..

Thanks for the replies!

I do have a question though, what can I do to make my engine stay still, if possible, I don't want it to move at all(unless I accelerate it's gonna move ofcourse), but when the car is not moving, the shifter moves cause of the engine, it kind of shakes, would buying better engine mounts get rid of this shaking? I was told the engine was in very good condition..

Maybe your transmission mounts are a little bad. my friend had a 240 and the shifter moved like crazy. It was the transmission mounts going bad.

Hmm, I think I've seen somewhere online where they sell transmission and engine mounts as a package, im not sure if they're nismo brand. But anyway, im gonna try changing atleast the transmission mounts and hopefully it'll stop the shaking.

Thanks
