I was planning on running a braided AN10 line from the turbo to the block when I got my GT2871R. I looked at the block and the nipple fitting is screwed into the block and looks like it is removable. I didnt feel like taking it off and checking what thread fitting it was so I just hose clamped the AN10 (1/2inch inner diameter) to the nipple. Id be curious to know if anyone has actually removed the brass nipple from the block and replaced with with a AN male to metric male adapter. Has anyone done this and know the adapter size needed?

i dont think the plug on the block is removable. to me it looks solid on their . what i am going to do is buy an t/3 oil drain flange with an 1/2 ntp fitting then get some braided hose to the length i need then put another fitting so i can add some 300 degree blue house to the end of the line so i can clamp it to the block fitting . what do u guys think

Well in that case, you should do what Im doing right now. I have an oil drain flange that has a AN10 male fitting on it. an AN10 line has an Inner diameter of 1/2inch so it actually fits over that fitting on the block almost perfectly. On my car I just have a hose clamp on the braided AN10 line to keep it on my block

the steelbraided line is a -12 not -10 -10 is too small for the block nipple where the oil back in . i think -10 is 1/2in and -12 is 5/8 also anyone intrested in turbo setup for sr20 look at my classifed section
