s13 non-abs, dot 3 only or dot 4 okay?

on the filler cap it says dot 3 only, I was wondering if I can put those vasoline sync power dot3/dot4 in there?

"DOT 3/4 fluid is suitable for up-grade from conventional DOT 3 or DOT 4."

The valvoline one will be fine - that's what my friends ran in their cars. It's the crazy "racing" ones you will want to upgrade to stainless lines for...

and if you already have stainless lines, you can run pretty much any dot if you bleed it right.

DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 are all fine, stainless lines or not. DOT 5 is the stuff you don't want to use. if you find DOT 5 at an auto parts store, i'd be suprised, you don't have much to worry about.

if you are replacing all the fluid, it's a good time to upgrade to stainless steel lines anyway.
