ok so im wanting to get some new wheels. Im not sure what size or offset is best. i searched and everyone said to get 17x9 +22 offset but they said you have to roll the fenders with that setup.

question is

could i get something like 17x8 and not roll the fenders?

would it fit with my k-sport coilovers?

sorry i am still a noob so forgive me if its stupid.

i cant remember the correct offsets but the biggest you need to run on the front are 17x8 anyhow. In the rear you can run the 17x9 and depending on wether you have 4 or 5 lug hubs you may have to roll the fenders. The only offset with the 17x9 4 lug 5zigen requires fender rolling. If you have 5 lug hubs you should be able to get the correct offset so that fender rolling isnt necessary

p.s. the best thing to do is call the place you are looking to buy from and they should be able to point you in the right direction

Trust me, rolling fenders isnt neearly as tough as youre thinking. Just get the 17x9+22's and roll the fenders. In the long run you will see that the fitment is better than any 8 inch wide wheel out there.

If you dont want to do that, get 17x8.5 +25 all the way around..

are you talking about the 4 lug 5zigen wheels ? Im still debating the 5 lug swap myself. I just cant see spending $500+ just for hubs to get the wheels.

is that what you have on your car ? if so what size and spacing are you running on the front ? my wheels absolutely suck and i need to get rid of them asap so after my engine overhaul that is the first on my list of things to replace. I am running coilovers so I am curious it the 17x8 +35 will clear in the front

Nah, mine are 17x8.5 +25's with 225/45/17.

The fitment is just about perfect with rolled fenders and -moderate- camber. The 17x9 +20 would be my ideal size but I hate FN's.

well the reason i dont want to roll the fenders is because my project is really really budget based. i dont mind doing the work but i wont be able to pay someone to do it and i wont be able to afford the tool.

that being said do you guys know of any places i could get a pair of decent wheels for a low price?

i have the standard 4x114.3 lug pattern.
