I just replaced my SOHC digital cluster with a DOHC analog cluster. When I turn the key, the fuel gauge doesn't move. When I removed my SOHC cluster the gauge was just under half full. The DOHC cluster I installed was at 3/4 full. I have two DOHC clusters that I can test with (and I know they both work) and they both don't move. The second cluster is at 1/4 full and just sits at 1/4 when I turn the key. Do I need to "reset" the fuel gauge or what? btw, I am using a DOHC analog sub harness. thanks in advance.

Maybe the fuel sender units are different between models, and have a different output voltage to the gauge?
Or the wiring is screwed up somewhere?
Use a multimeter to check if you are getting any voltage to the plug that clips on to the gauge.

As far as gas gauge all ka24e ka24de and sr20det gas gauges are interchangeable.
