im not a nissan mechanic, but i can tell you how i changed my mounts. I used the nismo motor mounts.

The process in which i changed them was , remove the bottom motor mount nut to one side only ( note this one is reallllly tough to take off. Make sure you have deeep sockets if you're using a ratcheting wrench. )

then remove the top nut of the motor mount. Leave the other mount's nuts broken loose but not removed completely.

After you have the nuts removed, jack up the engine however you wish ( i used a jack with a wide peice of plywood, jacked the engine up from the oil pan).

Remove the mount and place the new one in.

Lower the engine a bit untill the engine is sitting on the mount.

Tighten the nuts, and now repeat the process for the other mount.

I havnt done transmission mounts my self, but it seems a hell of a lot easier than motor mounts. I would have the transmission jacked up, so you can remove the cross member and transmission mount. Put the new mount on and youre done.

hope this helps

YUp you gotta jack up the front of the car, remove the wheels. Always make sure your car is stable before going under. Use wheel chocks for the rear wheels.
