I was wondering if i can plug that black box on the block above the alternator into the s14 manifold where i think the exhaust went back in, or should i plug these both up. im getting rid of my egr, and vacuum lines under the manifold. i think i know where to connect the coolant line at the back of the engine, but what should i do with the other two near the throttle body. i was thinking i could plug one up and run a coolant line from the firewall to one of those lines. someone please help me i need to get my car back on the road. :help thanks

also, does the fpr need the connected to the intake manifold or some other vacuum line? and do 95 and 91 240s have the same alternator wires? the starter should have a red plug go to it in 95s right? thanks

The fpr line on the s13 engine goes to a computer controled solinoid thats bolted on the back off the head. 95+ engines don't use this. On the 4th cylinder intake mani runner you will see a vacuum hose that goes to this solinoid. Pull that hose and just run a hose direct from fpr to this vacuum nozzle on the runner. Look at your 95 engine for an example.

Alternator should be the same to my understand.

as for coolant lines that go to the throttle body from the timing cover. You can plug these up. you only need two coolant lines from the thermostat area. one that goes to the engine and the other goes to the firewall for the heater. When removing vacuum lines under the intake mani you will end up removing the one that goes to the firwall. just buy a length of hose from parts store.

Hope that helps out,Andrew.
