Why not just ask the salesman? And if you like it and its the right price...get it! hehehe, LSD and Hicas should not make or break the deal (at least not for me) You could always put in an LSD anyway.

ya, salesman r stupid. i asked if it had HICAS and was like ".. . .uh. . . sir?. . whats that?" I know if i asked for LSD he would tell me they dont do drugs. I just want one that is better out of the box. i have a choice between a couple and i would like an lsd stock and no hicas and no abs. just figuring how to get all that easiest. just trying to save myself work/money

The LE is the highest trim model i believe. The LSD only comes with the ABSw/HICAS models. It says Super HICAS on the side of the door. and there are no 5 lug s13s unless they have been converted

Hehe, yeah I understand wanting it to start with...but if everything else (including price) was right I'd jump on it...black is nice :D

I agree with Nathan. If you like the car and the condition is good, go with it. You can pick up the VLSD online or in a junkyard, or you can go with an aftermarket one. That way you get exactly what you want. No HICAS, no ABS.

Only US spec S13 with Super Hicas are the 91-93 SE Hatchbacks. It will say super hicas on the rear lower panels. My friend has one;) Theyre the only ones with LSD and super hard to find.

Forget the ABS. its a real pain. it helps out when you are in the rain, but if you learn your car well you wont need itand without it you will have more braking power.

When I was home last time I went to see my mechanic. he told me not to get any car with ABS. Too many electronic components and they are a pain to replace if they go bad. Also one of my good friends has a modified A4 V6 and his ABS went. He completely replaced the system just to unplug it that same week, because he didn't like the cars mannerisms with it on.

yeah, ABS with only help you in the rain or snow. on dry ground it isnt that great. but if you get to know your car like ZERO said, you wont need it.

Yes, you can put the ABS on a switch, or just pull out the fuse when ever you want.

So ABS is...bad...? Hehehe j/k, but I had a nice scare in my dads Sentra with the brakes locking on me so I think I'll stick with my ABS. That Sentra's gonna get me killed...

ya it is. try thresh-hold braking (or however you spell that). plus the ABS on the s13 is uh well not so advanced.
