What's the purpose of changing your mirrors? Just so you can say 'I got JDM Mirrorz y0' or what?

Ive heard the glass is different concavity or something which would make the JDM glass not make sense in a left hand drive.

If you have to parallel park a lot and are just worried about your mirrors getting hit, thatd be the only semi-viable reason for getting JDM mirrors

he JDM mirrors would be horrible for a LHD car i think. if you look in your passenger mirror, all the cars look really really tiny, but not in your drivers side mirror. It's due to the concaveness (is that even a word?!) of each mirror. The same is true for the japanese mirrors, but theirs are vice versa since they do the RHD thing.

If you want your mirrors to look all JDM, get the housing painted to match your body color and there you go.

not really speaking about the jdm mirror itself but an aftermarket mirror that widens the view on both sides of the car....i sold a bunch of these for subarus and some hondas and they love it....i m gettin a sample set from my dealer in japan soon....if i can find pics of the before and after shots from the subaru i ll post em up...

ever since i have mine i have to get it for any car i own.....can live with out em plus the blue tint dims out any bright beams from behind

i ll post em soon

The best reason for the JDM folding side mirrors is simply style. Some people don't like them, but you should see the smiles I have seen from people here from Japan...they dig it. Plus it sure as hell beats an APC riced out replacement.

Changing to that mirror just changes the angle it's bent at.... it will also make other cars seem further away then your stock mirror so it takes some getting used to...

Just remeber to check your blindspot..
