Anyone know the MAX tire width the S13 will be able to handle? I have 18" rims, 8.5" in the front and 9.5" in the rear The front tires are Falken FK452 245/40/18. I got a good deal on some tires brand new for the rear but the size is 275/45/18. I do have 15mm spacers for the front and rear. I don't wanna go too wide in the rear though. They look sweet with the 300zx brakes sitting behind them but I think it is possible to go too wide. Anyone know if this will mess with the performance? Cornering should be improved but I don't know about traction. I think traction would be too great if I'm not putting down serious power. Any thoughts?

275/45/18 is WAY too tall.... Like 2" too tall.

I have 275/40/17's on mine, and they fit fine.

yeah man, im rocking 245/45/17s and they are freaking tall as crap. i would NOT reccomend that tall a sidewall in 275s. try 40 like the man said, ot maybe even 35 or 30 if you are brave.

I would never stretch a 225 tire out on a 9.5. I'm having trouble locating tires for a good price. I think I will go with 40 for the rear. 35 or 30 is way too low for my taste. A pot-hole or two and my chrome rims are done!

275/35/18 is the same OD as the 275/40/17 he mentioned

i think a lot of good tires come in 265/35/18, you could shoot for that in the rear

Is your S13 lowered? I have a widebody on mine. 20mm front and 50mm rear. WIDEBODY+DEEP DISH CHROME+RB=PU$$Y MACHINE!!!!

I'll shoot for the 275/40/18. I wanna save some height to preserve my rims. I don't need to hit a pothole or something and have them bend or crack you know?
