s13 mass airflow

I just bought a 93 240sx hatch, with ka24 twin cam engine and it surges, and kind of jumps, I had a similar problem with my vw, and it was the mafs, I know in some cars you can unplug the sensor and it will stop that (VW) temporarly, If anyone knows of anything else it could be i would greatly appreciate it.

I would unplug the MAF and see if the problem is resolved. Can't hurt.

I unplugged the maf, and it starting doing it worse but I did notice that the tabs that hold the connector on were broken and electrical tape was wrapped around it to hold them together, I think I'm going to try and clen the terminals and see what happens.
