s13 maf sensor help please

ok, i have a 93 240sx with the ka24de. i think my maf sensor is making the car run like ****, but i'm not sure how to clean it. i have an aftermarket cai(bomz, it came with the car), and i took the filter off along with what i believe to be the maf sensor. i dont see a screen or a sensor though. am i looking at the wrong thing? or do i have to take something else off? any help asap would help me out alot. thanks
