S13 MAF Help... Are they used in open loop?

I have a 92 240sx and I'm wondering if the MAF is used during open loop conditions? If anyone has information on the pin-out on the MAF as well, that would be great

The MAF is always used, however, the oxygen sensor is ignored during open loop operation.
