The reason Im posting this here is cuz I like you guys better. So being that all of my research has pulled only s14 lsd swaps I was curious if you guys and gal can help me out with which rears that can be swapped into s13's i.e. the j30, n/a z32, or one from an s13 that they sell on japanesengineimport.com its under the accessories for 250. Also what modifications are needed to do so and as a side note I have a base model hatchback no ABS or nothing.

just go to google and type is "240sx VLSD swap"..there should be something on KA24DEdevelopment.com or something to help you out. you could also just source a JDM VLSD with axles from an importer.

Since im already here i might as well ask. What would you recommend as far as 1.0, 1.5, or 2.0 way lsd? Also what type (clutch, viscous, helical, etc.)? I know that it depends a lot on the kind of racing you're trying to do but i want to hear what some of the more experienced CA owners prefer for different scenarios like drifting, track or autocross, drag racing, etc. etc.

i will be getting a VLSD this winter based on the experienced in my friends S14. basically his car sold me to get a VLSD..it drifts nicely and can still corner good without breaking it loose all the time.
