s13 lsd

i found a s13 in a junkyard and im not sure if it has a lsd in it. what should i look for to know if its a lsd or not? its the SE model s13.

vlsds from s13/r32 normally are a five bolt from diff to axle and have cooling fins on the cover plate. If its has six bolts in pairs of two its most likely just a stock one wheel wonder. you can swap in a s15 hlsd in it but not to likely done... also won't have cooling fins on stock cover plate

easy way to tell, jack up the rear, turn one wheel when both are off the ground, if the opposite wheel goes the same direction you have some sort of lockage, if not then you don't, which in fact you might know but thought i'd post it anyways...

if it has hicas it will have a vlsd. i have a s15 hlsd and it works great for me.
