S13 LSD Compatibility

Wondering what if any other stock lsd's off of a differnt vehicle fit on a S13 with little or no mods. I have a hige junkyard at my fingertips but none of the S13's have LSD's and wondering if there is any other vehicles I should check before buying a new/used one elsewhere. Thanks. I did search and didnt find much.

you can swap a J30 lsd to your 240. you will need the front bolts, and the axles, and of course the carrier.

any specific year(s) or model(s)? Also did all J30's come with LSD or do I have to check for them like I do on the 240? Thanks for the help

np. i just got my 1995 j30 vlsd in the mail. need to see if i really do need a abs drive shaft or if it will squeeze in.

NA z32 diff fits as well. you can mod a q45 diff to fit, but i dont think its worth the trouble nor do i believe you need such short gearing.

you can get a GTR LSD as well, and if you are lucky, maybe even the diff from the CA-powered 180sx and silvia. the final drive is identical to the GT-R IIRC.
