IMO if people can run cut springs on stock struts, then you can put s13 lowering springs on z32 struts

cut springs wouldnt sit any worse on a strut than those mix matched items

^ true, but cut springs are ridiculous, and this idea might be too.
i've seen how z32 springs look on a 240...and the weight difference is evident.
i would advise to just get z32 springs maaan. the extra 700+ lbs could be a factor,
ya never know.
just my .02

just run S chassis springs on the Z strut. thats what im doing and it works fine.

the spring sits on the strut exactly the same as the factory set up.

im running the Z32 alum uprights with KYB z32 struts and S13 springs and top hat.

btw i have cut springs and they have no chance of popping apart while im driving

okay thanks. i just looked up some lowering springs and the spring rate for the rear was the same on the s13 and z32 so there shouldn't be a problem.
