So I am looking into some sway bars.

Did some research and found the OEM Sizes by type of model

S13
ABS/LSD Front 25mm Rear 21mm
SE without ABS/LSD Front 25mm Rear 17mm
Non SE Front 24mm Rear 15mm (this one is my model)

So at the moment I am more concerned about the rear. I want to stiffen the back end up but not too much, I don't wish to go into drifting, but more into road course, time attack and autoX. So a more stable feel yet not too much more oversteering.

Looking around I see bars from 22mm up to 29mm for the rear.

So my question is for those who have tried different sizes and what are your opninions about it and what are you using your car more for(drift, commuter so on)?

So I am thinking 22mm or maybe even whitelines adjustable ones. seen some 25mm but not too sure if its too much? but 29 seems like way too much.

Progress...do it.

They're adjustable as well. The softest rear setting is similar to a Hicas sway bar.

According to FSM:

HICAS 21mm

Non HICAS 15mm.

Edit: Also according to the FSM

Vert front is 24mm while the Coupe's and the HB are 25mm.

Keep in mind that they do play off each other.

I just want more stability without getting too much added oversteer. Opinions or advice for that Converted?

I'd probably get the whiteline one purely for it's adjust ability You'd have the ability to change it for street, track, auto-x or whatever without having to swap out bars.

I am also trying to figure out what will go out back. Bwahaha! Can't get me. Lol. I found that oem j30 rear sway bars are like a perfect match fir the back for a dd /weekend warrior. Me personally am more of a drag racer so I'm going 28mm godspeed. For the front I'm still looking into something that will fit from another car but an upgrade for the s13.

I'd think for a drag car you wouldn't want any sway bar. Wouldn't it just unload a tire as the chassis twists off the line?

On irs suspension when launching it will try and shift all the weight to one corner and with a week sway bar will allow the other side to spin. A larger diameter sway bar will make the a** end behave more like a solid axle. When drag racing I will not have a front sway bar to help with weight transfer. if you look at all the drag supras and irs trans ams and vetts there are many tricks to get irs to hook without wheel hop.

I love how people chime in who have never personally tried a product. Lol, yes its ” crush” bent. Yes it does increase traction. Yes there has been a review on this very product. Yes its been proven to be effective. Have you heard of a godspeed sway bar failing? I haven't. Im not trying to win some 20mile auto x race. Just trying to get out of the whole faster.
