S13 keeps breaking stuff

My S13's age is catching up to it...

Since Dec. '09 it has managed to burn out both FAL e-fan motors, break a power window button, start a leak at the clutch slave cylinder hose, break the clutch slave cylinder, destroy an engine mount, mess up the passenger seat sliders, crack a downpipe, rot out a coolant tank, snap a headlight motor link, pop a ball joint, wear out a front LCA bushing, snap some clips off the radio bezel, wear out two tires and blow out a third one, and now it has developed an exhaust leak.

In the five years I've owned the car it had never seen a streak like this. I guess it was long overdue after 17 years and 182,XXX miles.

I'm sure some fellow niconauts have been through worse...

ahhh the catastrofy. yes i've been down that road for atleat a year. and it always the little crap that pisses you off. or even stuff that could've been avoided. welcome to the s13 faimly :)

Coolant tank rot, so F'n common. Its impossible to find a clean 89 res. they don't exist, they all rotted. Get and aftermarket or jack one Outta another car in the yard that looks like it might fit, probably find one that goes in a different spot that's better than the first, cuz they are the reason many battery trays are rusted straight through.

Get S14 seats, they be comfy and then bam, new slider.

Pack the mounts if they aren't broken and enjoy a nice stiffer motor mount.

Lol headlight motors and linkage are gonna be really rare soon.

Exhaust leak is an easy fix. A shop near my house would fix it for $30 or less if its small.

I haven't had any efan experience really yet. But you could put the Clutch fan back.

So you got a little list of shizz you could do to make your 240sx better than most on the road.
