S13 KADE: Stereo & dash stay on with key off!

When I turn off the car the stereo won't go off and the dashboard stays lit as in ON position,I have to turn it on and off again so these things go off. I have to physically push to start my car every time because somehow the battery is feeding something when the car is OFF! WTF?!

It sounds like you have a relay(s) sticking on, to me.

Or maybe botched wiring that put those things on a non-switched circuit.

Not sure what one switches power for that sort of thing, it might be one of the ones up behind the driver side kickpanel (in front of the fuse box there). There's also a box under the hood (maybe some in the fuse box under the hood too, not sure).

For now, if you let your battery discharge every time, you'll quickly ruin it. Disconnect the negative terminal when you leave the car to keep it charged.

Maybe it could also be a dirty contact in the ignition switch.
