I'm so sick of these vacuum lines! I really cant figure out which hoses go were! my intake is off the car, everything is disconnected, I'm using a diagram from the book, and i still cant tell whats going on! I'm getting so pissed, because i need this car to pass emissions.

Any input would be helpful. Pictures would be heavenly

I had the same problem, I connected everything back and I had 2 left over little air hoses. I just ended up blocking them off with some small screws, problem solved.

make sure your brake booster is hooked up. run one to your fuel pressure regulator. the rest of them block off... if you want to, you can just run the lines to everything that requires vacuum until you run out of lines....egr, swirl control, evap, etc... it doesn't matter WHERE they get vacuum from but just that they are getting vacuum.

really though the car will run fine with just brake booster and fuel pressure regulator hooked up. just be sure to plug all the vacuum ports so you have no leaks.

edit: also make sure the IAC gets vacuum of course and the PCV system is hooked up... these are on the underside of the manifold though and larger hoses as well so I don't think you've messed with these

if you have an s13 then your ecm doesn't monitor these things... they are just mechanical devices that run on vacuum. hooked up or not your ecm will function the same. no check engine light.
