s13 ka24de into 95 s14

I've searched and found lots of stuff on an s14 engine in to an s13, but nothing the other way around. I've got an s13 engine and trans w/ 90k on it and need to put it in my s14. Can anyone give me a breakdown or list of exactly what parts need to be changed? I know about the distributer and intake. will it work with my ecu? Has anyone done it? what do you guys think is a bigger pain to swap: s13 kade into an s14, or s14 ka to s13?

for future thread searching reference:

everything youve searcehd for about s14 into s13 is relevent, because the opposite must obviously be true.

just use the complete s13 head (minus distributor and block, excluding any other accessories and then use the s14 everything else. some parts are interchangeable, but there is no reason to use older parts.

There;s also the need for the CAS off teh S14 transmission or youll throw a code. And, if you're in Cali, a swap like that would be deemed illegal.

im doing that swap now.. 95 s14 into 89 s13, everything so far looks great just a few connectors i need to make sure of and still am searching. but i think s13 ka24de would be much easier.. anyone with ka24de knowledge hit me up. thanks guys.

all you really have to do to put that s14 transmission into your s13 is cut the weirdo metal collar at the part where the drive shaft is inserted.

you'll know what im talking about, it looks like its rubber, but its backed by metal. if you odnt cut it, the driveshaft will never fit right.

otherwise, there are plenty of DIY s13 manuel swap articles to find here. i think you'll ifnd it pretty straight forward.
