S13 KA24DE Engine Problem, NEED HELP!!

OK, let's start. I have had this car for about a month, NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER. I went to my buddies house down in largo, went to a couple places on top of that, turned the car off and on, and so forth, NO PROBLEMS. finally we went to the auto parts store and went in side to get spark plugs for my friends car. come out side WONT start, turns over but wont start. i checked all the fuses, the fuel pump is working because when you turn the key it makes a sound,also if you hold the fuel line near the fuel filter you feel pressure, but when you turn the key its just turns over and does not start, we checked all the relays in the fuse box under the hood, pulled the spark plugs, they were ok, we checked one of the wires and it was getting power, but only when i step on the gas for alittle bit its starts up. BUT it only starts rarely doing that. finally one of the times i got it started i drove it home but i had to ride the gas at stop light in order to keep it running, but sometimes when i was letting it idle it was fine, i'd step on the brake and the car's idle would drop alittle than jump up, so the idle air control valve seems to be working, and when its idling if i step on the gas it die and then jumps so it seems like it miss firing, it seems to rev fine above 1000 rpms, but if i let it fall to idle it sometimes dies, but when i got home pulled in and parked let ott the gas pedal and it was fine ran, but when i turned it off, tried turning it on and wouldnt start, just turns over. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHATS WRONG?? I WILL PAY SOME ONE TO HELP ME OUT.

The IACV assembly, might need cleaning. There could be a lot of powdered carbon in it which would prevent the AAC valve from moving freely.

i had almost same problem and it was an injector

I had this problem when i first got mine, and i tried 3 things and it fired right up

1. Injectors2. Loose injector clip3. One of clear top fuses "eng" or something like that the fuses in the engine bay

intermittent no start? sounds like a distributor problem, common problem of this is there's oil accumulated inside the distributor. But of course u gotta check the basics first, spark, fuel pressure, codes, etc.

ended up being the coolant tempature sensor

yup. the CTS will cause it for a crank & no start. It will usually give u a code right away.
