So I just got an 93 s13 ka24de and transmission from my friend for free after he ran his car into a tree. I have to replace a few things like the throttle body, oil pan and stuff but everything else seems to be great working order. I have an obd1 94.5 s14 that I'm going to be swapping te s13 ka into, And i was wondering what all has to be done to the s14 harness for the ka to just slip in and turn over?

You will need a s13 ka m/t speed sensor for your transmission. I think the harness shouldn't be that different..check the FSM. I think the only thing will be a few colours will be different.

Is your s14 auto or m/t? If its mt I think it will be plug and play?

I just put a 91 ka into my 95.. I didn't need to change anything!! Everything that attaches to the block is still the same from year to year, but the head, valve cover and distributor are different. Now my car was auto, but I used the same transmission!!

Hope this helps..

Same here, but I switched the distributors, and TB to use the 95 engine harness. I had to use heater hose adapters to increase the size of the lines because I didn't reuse the line adapters from the 95 head. Also my single pin coolant temp sensor was reading too hot on the gauge cluster, so i had to use the the temp sensor from the 95 head. Mine also sets a code for egr malfunction, but i took most of the egr system off. I reused my auto trans, so i didn't have to mess with the lower engine harness. Good luck

Well my car was an automatic, and i'm doing the 5 speed swap. I also have the 93 lower harness for the transmission and starter etc.
