I've searched and couldn't find anything. If I get an automatic 95sx and I swap a S13 redtop into it, would I use the materials required to convert an S13 automatic to a 5spd or would I use the materials required to convert an S14 automatic to a 5spd.

Are the parts needed for the conversion different for the two generations or the same?

Thanks.

Driveshaft, clutch pedal, master cylinder, hydraulic line, and the trans mount are S14 specific.

Your SR20 should come with flywheel, 5-speed trans, clutch (if not, it's motor specific), and the bellhousing bolts...also the ECU and harness.

So you need to buy a complete SR swap, and find the rest of the stuff for an S14.

FYI...S13 driveshaft IS NOT interchangeable.

Save some time and cut the auto brake pedal...buying and installing the 5-speed brake pedal is a PITA, unless you HAVE to have it like OEM.

thanks for the info by the way...i checked out your website and printed off the transmission swap electrical instructions.

it seems since i'll be getting the ECU's and sensors off of the S13 SR, all I will need to do is the starter system, backup lights, and automatic speed control device clutch cancel system wiring.

the other two ecu cuts i will not have to make right?

the search begins for an S14 driveshaft with LSD/ABS options....

thanks again
