Hello,

I'm currently running 205/50/R16. One of my back tires has recently blew and i put a used 205/60/R16 in the mean time while its parked.

I like the profile the 60 gives me and it fills the fenders nicely.

My question is: Moving from a 205 to 225 will the side wall profile be effected or just the width obviously?..

Secondly: How would a 225/60/R16 fit up front? I am running coil overs.

I'll be buying tires shortly, I just want to make sure I am making the right decision.

225/60/16

225 = width of tread area60 =sidewall as a % of width16 = opening diameter.

So, yes, going to a 225/60 will give you a wider and taller tire. Maybe 225/50, but I'd have to look at tire specs to know how close that is to your OE tire diameter.
