s13 intake question

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

i have an 89 240 KA, and im looking for an intake for it, I have found numerous intakes on ebay but they all say 91-94, i know that the dohc started in 92 or 93 so my question is will this intake fit my sohc? if not can someone point me in the direction to get an intake that wont cost me an arm and a leg, thanks

DOHC was built for 91 and newer. just FYI.

Your best bet is probably to build your own intake. Sport Compact Only has Injen IS intakes for 89-90, but they're $203.

A cold air intake or an intake manifold. I dont know why a 91-94 cold air wouldnt fit ka24e. But I have never owned one.
